    Gundam Seed and destiny is one of the few anime that i actually watch the op/ed every episode no matter how rush i am in watching. They are flaws and stupid characters that you want to murder in this anime (almost all the main cast except Kira and Lacus and maybe cagalli), that other than that Its my no.2 most beloved gundam series after the first trilogy (universal century)

    I love how there are people in the comments talk about how Kira replace Shin as the MC in Seed Destiny. Kira was always the main MC in both series. He was sidelined in the first part of Seed Destiny because he was recovering mentally from the last war. And he said it himself that he doesn't really want to fight anymore. He was watching from the sidelines and realized that Athrun is making a huge mistake again by siding with ZAFT. He tried to talk him out of it but Athrun didn't want to believe that the Chairman was only using them. At this time Kira was like "AHH Sht here we go again". He needs to fight and set Athrun straight again. Athrun realized his mistake and came back to their side. Shinn was being brainwashed by the Chairman and Rey into fighting for their goals. Athrun in the last fight, DESTINY VS I. JUSTICE, had enough and decided to end Shinn's career by beating the sht out of him and snapping him out his own BS. Kira went after the main villain which are the chairman+ Rey. Rey got talk no jutsu'd by Kira and turn on the chairman, therefore ending the stupid cause of the petty war that they are fighting. Kira and the Freedom was the symbol of the end of both wars. Hence the name of his Gundam. FREEDOM. He freed/helped freed their world from unnecessary fighting. So he is the main MC all the way. Now they gained another strong pilot to fight with them in case another war breaks out again in the future.

    An anime I met 16 years ago when I was in middle school on the recommendation of a tutor. It's the first culture I've encountered, but I really enjoyed the manga.
