I want to put these everywhere in pennsylvania if I ever get rich. Including actual speedway trains for long term fast transportation. Because you cannot go anywhere without driving. So if you could spend idk $10 for a room. $2 for a seat like a bus. And $20-$50 for a luxury room with a bed to sleep. Idk. It's a business that we so desperately need.
for those who feel the need to correct north american transit terminology:
streetcar = railcar that runs on the street
subway =subterranean railway
tram: goods wagon used in mines
metro: city
Basically they want any new public transportation infrastructure that they can get in a lot of the big cities cities and it's simple you want to take Cars off the street and encourage people to commute taking public transportation

I took the street car in seattle once and I’m pretty sure it took ten minutes longer than if I had just walked. The light rail is way better.

Here in Toronto, we have 190 miles of streetcar track and I laughed when you said an ambitious 37 mile streetcar network, every single main street in downtown has a streetcar line and there are a total of 11 lines

streetcars and public transit work perfectly everywhere besides north america. issues in america are so systematic that you have to provide multiple fixes for solutions to work
So in US they don't have tram dedicated lanes..
